BUILDING PERMITS

* Please note All Contractors requesting permits or submitting plans are required to have a City of Twentynine Palms Business License. For more information about this requirement click HERE.

  1. All Building and Safety Application must be completed online via our online portal. You can use the Apply Online icon above or by clicking HERE.
  2. To email Building and Safety regarding your application clicking HERE.
  3. Staff will process the permit and call the applicant if there are questions regarding the application. If contractor does not have a City Business License you will be asked to submit a business license application and pay the required fees. 
  4. Staff will email the permit and job card upon approval.

 

PLAN SUBMITTAL

  1. All Planning submittals must be completed online via our online portal. You can use the Apply Online icon above or by clicking HERE.
  2. Plan Review time period is 10 working days for photovoltaic and 15 working days for all other plan review.

 

SIGN PERMITS

Signage improves the visual appearance of the community and helps increase commercial activities. Please make sure to contact the Planning Department/Code Enforcement before you purchase or install any signs to ensure you are in compliance. Submit your sign permit application via our online portal. You can use the Apply Online icon above or by clicking HERE.
