Little Pioneers
The City of Twentynine Palms and the Club of Twentynine Palms Rotary are inviting local families to be part of a beloved Pioneer Days tradition with the Little Pioneer Day Pageant, taking place Saturday, October 10, at 11:00 a.m. at Freedom Plaza (73551 Twentynine Palms Highway).
As part of the 90th Annual Pioneer Days celebration, this year’s pageant is a special opportunity for local children to join in the festivities and celebrate the community’s rich history and traditions. The 2026 Pioneer Days theme, “A Century in the Making: Celebrating 100 Years of the Old Schoolhouse,” honors the 100th anniversary of Twentynine Palms’ historic Old Schoolhouse.
The Little Pioneer Day Pageant, hosted by Club of Twentynine Palms Rotary, will give young participants the chance to be recognized as part of this year’s Pioneer Days celebration. Pageant winners will also have the special honor of participating in the 90th Annual Pioneer Days Parade on Saturday, October 17, giving them an opportunity to ride along and represent the Little Pioneer Day Pageant during one of the community’s biggest annual celebrations.
Registration is now open and advance registration is required. The registration fee is $10 per child. Families interested in entering their children are encouraged to register early and secure their spot.
