Marching Band Opportunity to Join the 90th Annual Pioneer Days Parade

The City of Twentynine Palms is proud to announce the return of its longest-running community tradition, the 90th Annual Pioneer Days, presented by Bowladium Family Fun Center, taking place October 15–18, 2026. This year’s celebration honors the Old Schoolhouse Museum with the theme, “A Century in the Making: Celebrating 100 Years of the Old Schoolhouse.”

As preparations get underway for this milestone celebration, the City is calling on marching bands from throughout the region to join one of the most anticipated events of Pioneer Days—the Pioneer Days Parade. On Saturday, October 17, the streets of downtown Twentynine Palms will come alive as marching bands, classic cars, colorful floats, community organizations, military participants, and more make their way through town for the annual Pioneer Days Parade.

Marching bands are invited to bring their music, energy, and school spirit to the parade route as the community comes together to celebrate 100 years of the Old Schoolhouse.

The parade provides an exciting opportunity for bands to perform for a large community audience while becoming part of a historic Pioneer Days celebration. Whether representing a local school, youth organization, or community program, participating bands will help create the festive atmosphere that makes Pioneer Days a cherished annual tradition.

The City encourages marching bands interested in participating to register early and be part of this year's milestone celebration.
