City of Twentynine Palms to Open Contributions to Non-Profits Grant Application on March 2
The City of Twentynine Palms is pleased to announce that the Contributions to Non-Profits Grant application for the 2026/2027 fiscal year will be available beginning Monday, March 2, 2026, on the City's website.
This annual funding opportunity supports eligible non-profit organizations providing programs and services that benefit Twentynine Palms residents. Funding is intended to strengthen community wellbeing, expand access to resources, and help local non-profits continue delivering meaningful impact.
Where to Find the Application
Starting Monday, March 2, the application materials will be posted on the City's website at 29palms.org. Navigate to City Services --> Contributions to Non-Profits Grant.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations that:
- Are in good standing and able to verify non-profit status
- Provide services, programs, or initiatives that primarily benefit Twentynine Palms residents
- Can demonstrate organizational capacity and fiscal accountability to successfully deliver the proposed work
What Applicants Should Prepare
Organizations planning to apply should be prepared to submit a complete application package, which commonly includes:
- A completed Contributions to Non-Profits Grant Application
- A clear program/service description and how it benefits Twentynine Palms residents
- A proposed budget and how City funds will be used
- Measurable outcomes and a plan for reporting results
- Required attachments (such as an annual report and proof of non-profit status, as listed in the application)
Applications must be complete to be eligible for review. Incomplete applications may not be considered.
Grant Agreement Requirement
All organizations selected for funding will be required to sign the City of Twentynine Palms Grant Agreement prior to any release of fund. The Grant Agreement outlines the approved scope, reporting requirements, documentation standards, and other conditions of funding.
