Catering Proposals Sought for 89th Annual Pioneer Days Special Event
The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department is inviting qualified caterers and food vendors to submit proposals for catering services for “A Toast to 250 Mixer,” a special community event taking place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the historic Old Schoolhouse Museum.

This unique mixer is part of the 89th Annual Pioneer Days, presented by Bowladium Family Fun Center, and will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States Marine Corps, honoring the long-standing relationship between the military and the Twentynine Palms community. The event will bring together residents, civic leaders, and community partners for an evening of conversation, connection, and celebration.
The City is seeking a vendor that can provide a menu of small bites or tasting-style options appropriate for a social event with approximately 50-75 guests. Non-alcoholic beverage service is required, and vendors who are licensed to serve alcohol are invited to offer beer and wine as a cash bar only.
A catering kitchen located in Founders Hall at the Old Schoolhouse Museum will be available for food preparation and staging. However, no full kitchen services are available on-site.
Interested vendors are asked to submit a proposal that includes sample menus, pricing, staffing plans, licensing documentation, and any available references. The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, September 12, 2025, by 6:00 p.m.
