Twentynine Palms Youth Council to Host Astronomy Night in Partnership with Joshua Tree Astronomy Adventures, Sky's the Limit Observatory & Joshua Tree National Park: Where are all the Aliens?

The Twentynine Palms Youth Council is excited to host Astronomy Night, a free evening of stargazing and discovery, held in partnership with Joshua Tree National Park, Joshua Tree Astronomy Adventures and Sky's the Limit Observatory.

The free event will take place at the renowned Sky's the Limit Observatory on Friday, May 8th from 7:45 PM to 10:00 PM, where stargazers of all ages will explore the wonders of the universe under some of the darkest skies in Southern California.

Join Joshua Tree National Park Astronomy Rangers as they present: Where are all the Aliens? This fun and engaging presentation will teach participants about our galaxy and answer our most pressing questions. Participants will also observe the night sky through Sky's the Limit's impressive Celestron 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, as well as other high-quality telescopes led by experienced Astronomy Tour guides from Joshua Tree Astronomy Adventures. Expect to see the season's best solar system objects, stars, and deep sky phenomena - all explained in an engaging and accessible way.

Whether you are brand new to stargazing or already a space enthusiast, this event is designed to inspire awe and curiosity in every participant. Free beverages and snacks will be provided for all attendees.
