A Star-Spangled Success: Twentynine Palms Hosts Another Memorable Fourth of July Celebration

The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department proudly wrapped up another unforgettable Fourth of July Celebration this past Friday, bringing the community together for an evening of fun, music, and fireworks at Knott’s Sky Park.

From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., families and friends gathered to celebrate America’s birthday with a festive lineup of activities that included a giant waterslide, lawn games, face painting by Reach Out Morongo Basin, and a jam-packed vendor area filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and more. DJ LX Zandro kept the energy high all night long with a family-friendly playlist and crowd-favorite anthems.

As the sun set behind the desert hills, all eyes turned to the sky for the grand finale—a spectacular fireworks display launched from Tortoise Rock Casino. The show lit up the night in a dazzling tribute to Independence Day, viewed best from the open fields of Knott’s Sky Park.

This year’s celebration was proudly sponsored by Bowladium Family Fun Center, 29 O’Clock, Libby’s Realty, and PadMai Onigiri, whose support helped make the evening free and open to all.

The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the participating vendors, our community partners, the Institute of Inquiry for bringing the fun to our youngest community members, Party Life Photo Booth for capturing the smiles on everyone’s faces, and to the community for making this event such a resounding success.
