Registration Opens April 14th for 2026 Summer Day Camp in Twentynine Palms

The City of Twentynine Palms is pleased to announce the return of its Summer Day Camp, a dynamic and engaging summer program designed for children entering 1st through 5th grade in Fall 2026.

Running from June 8 through August 7, the camp will take place at Patriotic Hall at Luckie Park and offers five two-week sessions (with the final session lasting one week). Camp operates Monday through Friday, 6:45AM to 5:15PM, providing families with a full-day childcare option during the summer months.

Participants will enjoy a wide variety of enriching activities, including:

  • Daily crafts, games, and Luckie Park pool visits
  • Excursions to the Community Center gym, Bowladium Family Fun Center, and local movie theater
  • Field trips to popular destinations such as Chuck E. Cheese and Joshua Tree National Park
  • And many other engaging, supervised experiences

The cost is $158 per child per two-week session, or families may opt for a full summer rate of $646 per child for all five sessions. Each session is limited to 40 children, and early registration is encouraged due to high demand.

All camp staff hold current CPR and First Aid certifications, reinforcing the City's commitment to providing a safe and professionally supervised environment for all participants.

"This program gives local children a place to stay active, connect with friends, and grow through new experiences in a safe and welcoming environment," said Amy Tessier, Recreation Program Supervisor. "We're excited to create another fun and memorable summer at Luckie Park."
