Special Olympics Southern California—Inland Empire is coming to Twentynine Palms this spring! The mission of SOSC is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. These programs offer individuals ongoing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and share gifts, skills, and friendships with their community.

Key Highlights

  • All Special Olympics programs are FREE for athletes and their families.
  • Athletes compete in divisions based on gender, age, and ability.
  • Participants must be at least 8 years old to compete.
  • All activities reflect the values, traditions, and ceremonies of the modern Olympic Movement.

This upcoming information session will provide an overview of the impactful work done by SOSC and highlight ways the community can get involved. Whether as an athlete, coach, unified partner, or volunteer, there's a role for everyone to support this meaningful cause.
