City of Twentynine Palms Announces Free Meal Tickets for Veterans at Upcoming Veterans Day Celebration
The City of Twentynine Palms is proud to announce a special gesture of appreciation for local veterans as part of the annual Veterans Day Celebration taking place Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Freedom Plaza (73551 Twentynine Palms Highway).
To honor and thank those who have served, the first 100 veterans who visit the City of Twentynine Palms booth during the event will receive a free meal ticket redeemable at participating food vendors onsite. This initiative is designed to show gratitude for the sacrifices made by veterans and to create a welcoming and inclusive experience during the celebration.
Please note: Proof of veteran status is requested. Accepted forms include military IDs, state IDs with veteran designation, VA cards, or veteran organization membership cards. If documentation is unavailable, please speak with staff—we honor and trust our veterans.
“We’re please to offer this small token of appreciation to the veterans in our community,” said Community Events Coordinator Scott Clinkscales. “Providing complimentary meals is one way we can express our heartfelt thanks and ensure our veterans feel honored and supported.”
The Veterans Day Celebration will feature a ceremony and Presentation of Colors, followed by live music from The Silverados, food vendors, and access to veteran-focused organizations through the Veterans Resource Fair. Veterans, active-duty service members, military families, and community members are encouraged to attend for a day of recognition and connection.
Special thanks to our sponsors Navy Federal Credit Union, Bowladium Family Fun Center, Libby’s Realty, and 29 O’Clock for their support.
