Community Center Adjusts Operating Hours for Fall Season

The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department is announcing updated operating hours for the Twentynine Palms Community Center as the summer season comes to a close.

Beginning Monday, August 11, the Community Center, located at 6547 Freedom Way, will be open from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This schedule will remain in effect through the fall.

The updated hours are designed to better serve the community’s needs and support ongoing youth and adult recreation programs.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday will feature Open Gym, allowing community members to enjoy casual, drop-in play and practice time.

Thursdays will be dedicated to Volleyball, offering structured open play opportunities for volleyball enthusiasts of all skill levels.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment if desired; however, there is equipment on-site that can be used. All activities are free and open to the public. Anyone taking part in the activities at the Community Center must have a signed waiver on file. All minors must have their parent or guardian sign the waiver for them to enter the facility.
