Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Office Reopens to the Public
The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to announce that its office has reopened to the public as of today, March 17, 2026. The office will be open Monday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The temporary closure, which began February 17, 2026, was necessitated by construction activities associated with the Luckie Park ADA Parking Improvements Project (CDBG Project TPL-24-1-003G/0307). The project involved the removal of non-ADA compliant concrete in the park’s parking lots and surrounding building entrance areas, followed by reconstruction to meet current ADA standards. Improvements included the installation of PCC pavement, sidewalks, curb and gutter, updated signage and striping, and storm drain enhancements.
Community members are welcome to visit the Parks & Recreation office during regular operating hours. Those who require assistance outside of regular office hours are encouraged to contact the department by phone or email.
Programs, events, and facility operations at Luckie Park continue as scheduled.
For additional information, please contact the Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department at (760) 367-7562.
The City of Twentynine Palms thanks the community for its patience and understanding throughout the construction period and looks forward to continuing to serve residents with improved, accessible facilities.
