City of Twentynine Palms to Host Free World Wildlife Day Celebration
Live Animal Presentations, Conservation Exhibits, and Family Activities on April 4
The City of Twentynine Palms invites residents and visitors to celebrate World Wildlife Day on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Community Center, located at 6547 Freedom Way. This FREE, family-friendly event offers an exciting opportunity to explore the wonders of wildlife and conservation through engaging exhibits, live animal presentations, and hands-on learning experiences designed for all ages.
A highlight of the day will be Learning Safaris presented by Pacific Animal Productions, scheduled at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. These captivating live animal encounters give attendees a rare up-close look at fascinating creatures from around the world, while highlighting the importance of wildlife protection and habitat preservation.
Throughout the event, guests can explore informational booths hosted by local wildlife and conservation organizations, including the Joshua Tree National Park Association, Big Morongo Canyon Preserve, 760 Snake Club, and more.
