Your Guide to Planning Events in Twentynine Palms

The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department invites local residents, organizations, and business owners to attend a free Event Planning & Permitting Workshop on Wednesday, May 28, at 5:30PM in the Twentynine Palms City Hall Council Chambers (6136 Adobe Road).

This informative session is designed to assist anyone interested in hosting events within the City of Twentynine Palms. Whether you're planning a community gathering, special celebration, fundraiser, or public performance, this workshop will walk you through the event permitting process, requirements for using City facilities and public spaces, and best practices for organizing a successful and safe event.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the City's permitting process and timelines
  • Understand insurance and vendor requirements
  • Get tips for coordinating logistics such as traffic control, safety, and site layout
  • Ask questions and receive direct guidance from City staff
