Palms-N-Paws Animal Shelter & VCA Animal Hospital of Twentynine Palms Offers Affordable Rabies Shots for Dogs and Cats

Palms-N-Paws Animal Shelter will host a low-cost rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Palms-N-Paws Animal Shelter (7086 Bullion Ave). This event is open to all pet owners in the region and aims to make vital rabies vaccinations accessible and affordable.

Rabies shots will be available for just $8.00 per pet, with no appointment necessary. All pets must be leashed or in carriers. The clinic is open to dogs and cats aged 4 months and older. "Rabies is 100% preventable, but still poses a real threat in our area," said Twentynine Palms Animal Control Manager Rick Boyd. "Vaccinating your pets not only protects them, but your family and community too."

Requirements:

• Dogs must be leashed; cats in secure carriers.
• Bring previous vaccination records if available.
• Cash only for Rabies Shot. Cash or card accepted for City licensing.

This is part of the City of Twentynine Palms Animal Shelter's ongoing efforts to improve public health and promote responsible pet ownership in the community.
