Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Office Temporarily Closed for Luckie Park ADA Parking Improvements Project
The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation office will be temporarily closed to the public beginning February 17, 2026, through March 25, 2026, due to construction activities taking place in the small parking lot outside of the Parks & Recreation office off Joe Davis Drive.
The Luckie Park ADA Parking Improvements Project, identified as CDBG Project TPL-24-1-003G/0307, includes the removal of existing non-ADA compliant concrete in the park's parking lot and surrounding building entrance areas and reconstruction to meet current ADA requirements. The project also includes the installation of PCC pavement, sidewalks, curb and gutter, updated signage and striping, and storm drain improvements.
During the construction period, Parks & Recreation staff will remain available to assist the public by appointment only. Community members who require in-person services are encouraged to contact the department in advance to schedule an appointment.
Programs, events, and facility operations at Luckie Park will continue as scheduled unless otherwise announced.
For additional information or to schedule an appointment, please contact the Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department at (760) 367-7562.
The City of Twentynine Palms appreciates the community's patience and understanding as these important accessibility improvements are completed.
