Twentynine Palms Youth Council Hosts Community Food Drive to Support Local Families

The Twentynine Palms Youth Council, in partnership with Grocery Outlet, will host a community food drive on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 8AM to 12PM. The event will take place at the Grocery Outlet in Twentynine Palms and aims to support the Twentynine Palms Community Food Pantry, a vital resource for local families experiencing food insecurity.

Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, and jelly. All proceeds and donations collected during the drive will go directly to the Twentynine Palms Community Food Pantry.

"This is a meaningful opportunity for our youth to lead and make a tangible impact in our community," said Amy Tessier, Youth Council Advisory. "We're thankful to Grocery Outlet for partnering with us to support local families in need."

Everyone is welcome to stop by, drop off donations, and support the youth in their efforts to make a difference.
