To support local event organizers and ensure smooth coordination, the City of Twentynine Palms is pleased to announce an Event Planning & Permitting Workshop on March 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The workshop will be held at City Hall (6136 Adobe Road) and promises to provide invaluable insights into navigating the intricacies of event planning within the community.
 
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from City staff who are professionals in their respective fields. The workshop will cover a range of crucial topics, including obtaining permits, securing insurance, ensuring ADA compliance, managing food and retail vendors, and understanding licensing requirements.
 
The workshop will feature presentations by City staff members, including Community Events Coordinator Scott Clinkscales, Recreation Division Manager Kary Minatrea, Community Development Director Keith Gardner, and Planning Technician Shelley Green. These experts bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, offering attendees practical advice and best practices from years of working in their respective fields.
