Experience Culture, Music, and Community at the 2nd Annual International Festival in Twentynine Palms
The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with Twentynine Palms High School, invites the community to come together for the 2nd Annual International Festival, a vibrant celebration of global cultures, flavors, and traditions on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Freedom Plaza from 5-9PM.
This free, family-friendly event will spotlight the cultural diversity of Twentynine Palms and the Morongo Basin through live performances, authentic cuisine, art, and interactive experiences for all ages.
Headlining this year’s festival is Giselle Woo & the Night Owls, an electrifying band known for their eclectic, bluesy, and psychedelic sound they call Chicano desert rock. With past performances at both Coachella and the Joshua Tree Music Festival, this powerhouse group brings passion and energy to every stage. Also taking the spotlight once again are the talented student performers from Twentynine Palms High School, showcasing the creativity and global spirit of our local youth.
Other festival highlights include international food vendors with authentic dishes, community booths highlighting diverse traditions, retailers with special international offerings, and more!
“We are so excited to host this event that brings people together through the universal languages of music, food, and culture,” said Scott Clinkscales, Community Events Coordinator. “It’s a celebration of what makes our community strong and beautifully diverse.”
Vendor spaces are still available! Local artisans, cultural organizations, food vendors, and community groups are encouraged to participate. This is a great opportunity to share your culture, connect with the community, and be part of a high-energy celebration.
