Memorial Day Ceremony to Honor Fallen Heroes

The City of Twentynine Palms, in collaboration with the Twentynine Palms Public Cemetery District, is proud to announce its Memorial Day Ceremony to honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

"The Memorial Day Ceremony is a time for our community to come together and honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of our fallen heroes," said City of Twentynine Palms Mayor Steven Bilderain. "We invite everyone to join us as we pay tribute to these selfless individuals who have given their lives to protect our freedoms."

The ceremony will take place on Monday, May 27, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Community Center, located at 6547 Freedom Way, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277. Speakers from the community and the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center will lead the service, which will be followed by a reception.

As part of the ceremony, a wreath display featuring wreaths from various local organizations and businesses will be held. If your organization or business is interested in contributing a wreath, we would be deeply honored to showcase your support.
