World Wildlife Day

Celebrate World Wildlife Day in Twentynine Palms with a Wild Family Adventure!

The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department invites the community to celebrate World Wildlife Day on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 9AM to 1PM at the Twentynine Palms Community Center (6547 Freedom Way). This free, family-friendly event will bring attendees up close to the wonders of wildlife and conservation through engaging exhibits, live animal presentations, and interactive learning experiences.

Highlighting the event will be two exciting Learning Safaris provided by Pacific Animal Productions at 10AM and 11:30AM. These live animal encounters will offer a unique opportunity to see and learn about fascinating creatures from around the world.

Throughout the event, guests can visit informational booths hosted by local wildlife and conservation organizations, including Joshua Tree National Park Association, Friends of the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve, The Wildlands Conservancy, and more. These organizations will showcase their efforts in protecting and preserving our natural world for future generations.
