Summer Event Series Kicks Off with First Movie in the Park

The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department invites residents and visitors to kick off the 2025 Summer Event Series with the first Movie in the Park of the season! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and join us under the stars on Thursday, June 12, for a free outdoor screening of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire on the Luckie Park Soccer Field. The movie will begin at 8PM.

Families and friends are encouraged to come early to grab a good spot and enjoy the warm desert evening. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. This community-favorite tradition is part of the City’s ongoing effort to provide fun, family-friendly entertainment all summer long.

The Summer Event Series includes three Movies in the Park and three Soak Up the Fun Pool Parties, designed to bring the community together for memorable nights under the stars and by the pool. Future movie nights include The Princess Diaries on July 10 and IF on August 7.
