Twentynine Palms Comes Together at Rotary Carnival for a Weekend of Community, Fun, and Heart

Families Packed the Fairgrounds This Past Weekend

Laughter filled the air and neighbors greeted neighbors this past weekend as the City of Twentynine Palms partnered with the Rotary Club of Twentynine Palms to host its beloved annual Carnival. From toddlers taking their first ride on the carousel to grandparents cheering from the sidelines as their grandchildren popped balloons for prizes, the event was a joyful reminder of just how tightly knit this desert community truly is.

Turnout was tremendous, with families arriving from across Twentynine Palms, Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, and beyond. Lines stretched happily at every attraction throughout the day; a sign of just how eagerly the community had looked forward to the event. Volunteers from the Rotary Club were on hand, greeting guests with smiles and ensuring the day ran smoothly from start to finish.

“To look out and see so many familiar faces, and so many new ones, all enjoying themselves together, that’s what the carnival is all about. This community never stops showing up for each other, and we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of it,” said Scott Clinkscales, Community Events Coordinator.

The carnival grounds buzzed with activity all weekend long. Kids tested their aim at midway games, squealed through the fun house, and raced to be first in line for rides. DJ LX Zandro kept the energy high on Saturday night, with everything from House to K-Pop to Latin music drawing in attendees. A wide array of food vendors served up everything from classic carnival fare to local favorites, keeping guests fueled and happy well into the evening.
