CITY OF TWENTYNINE PALMS


NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE STATUS OF CDBG FUNDED ACTIVITIES


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Twentynine Palms City Council, acting as the Approval Authority, will hold a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2026, at City Hall in the City Council Chambers, 6136 Adobe Road, Twentynine Palms, California. The purpose of the hearing will be to update residents on the progress of the Elm Avenue Property project. The project is being funded in part through the Community Development Block Grant Homekey Set-Aside Program administered by the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).

The following information related to the project is available by emailing the Twentynine Palms City Clerk, Cindy Villescas, at cvillescas@29palms.org.


A. Project progress/status of completion and expected timeframe to completion.

B. Results to date and projected totals, such as number of beneficiaries assisted, housing units completed, portion of project in service, or persons served.

C. Funds expended, balance of funds available, and budget expectations to completion.


ALL INTERESTED AND/OR AFFECTED PARTIES are invited to submit written comments in favor of, or in opposition to, this matter prior to the time of the hearing, or be heard in support of, or opposition to, the proposed project, at the time of the hearing.
