Youth Volleyball Registration
The City of Twentynine Palms Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Youth Volleyball League. Students entering 4th through 8th grade are invited to join an exciting season of volleyball that promotes teamwork, confidence, sportsmanship, and active recreation in a fun and supportive environment.
Registration will be open from July 13 through August 16, 2026, with a registration fee of $58 per player. Families registering three or more children will receive a $10 discount for the third child and each additional child. After you register your child, please make sure to note the evaluation date and time for their age group. Deadline to register is Sunday, August 16, 2026.
The Youth Volleyball League features co-ed divisions open to players of all experience levels. Whether your child is stepping onto the court for the first time or looking to sharpen their volleyball skills, this program provides a welcoming environment where every participant can learn, grow, and have fun.
The season is scheduled to begin in early September and continue through early November, depending on the number of teams. Practices will be scheduled by each team's volunteer coach, while games will be played during the week at the Twentynine Palms Community Center. Game times will vary each week, and scores will be kept throughout the season.
The Parks & Recreation Department is also seeking volunteer coaches to help mentor young athletes throughout the season. All volunteers must successfully complete a nationwide background screening prior to coaching.
Parents are reminded of the following important information:
- Coach requests will no longer be accepted, and requests for players to be placed on the same team—other than siblings—cannot be accommodated.
- Players should carefully select their jersey size, as jerseys cannot be returned or exchanged once ordered.
- Knee pads are recommended for all practices and games.
- Every registered player will be placed on a team regardless of experience or skill level.
- Coaches will contact families with team assignments by Friday, August 28, 2026, and will provide practice schedules, picture information, and weekly game schedules.
