Joshua Tree 55 Bike Ride

The City of Twentynine Palms is thrilled to announce the return of the Joshua Tree 55, set to take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025. After a one-year hiatus to coordinate with the staff at Joshua Tree National Park, the most scenic ride in Southern California is back, promising an unforgettable experience for all cycling enthusiasts.

With this next installation, we are heading back to basics solely offering the original Joshua Tree 55 route, taking cyclists from Knott’s Sky Park to the breathtaking vista at Keys View and back. With a total of 400 participants, this challenging 55-mile ride offers stunning views and a rewarding experience through one of California’s most iconic landscapes. Early Bird registration will be available for $55 for the entire month of September.

In a new safety initiative agreed upon between both the City of Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree National Park staff, all riders must wear Class 2 safety vests at all times within the park. This measure is introduced to ensure the safety of all riders as they navigate the park’s diverse terrain.

The City of Twentynine Palms expresses its excitement about the return of Joshua Tree 55. “We’re very excited to bring back the Joshua Tree 55 after taking a year off to work out details with the staff at Joshua Tree National Park after last year’s event,” said Scott Clinkscales, Community Events Coordinator for the City of Twentynine Palms. “This event has become a staple in our community, and we are committed to making it better and safer for everyone involved.”

Stay tuned for more information about registration and event details. Mark your calendars and get ready for an adventure through the stunning Joshua Tree National Park!
