CERT Basic Preparedness Training

When:

Special Events

A Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a group of trained volunteers who are educated on disaster preparedness and equipped with basic disaster response skills like fire safety, light search and rescue, and medical assistance, allowing them to help their communities in the immediate aftermath of a disaster when professional responders may not be readily available.

Our local Morongo Basin CERT is offering a Basic Preparedness Course on Saturdays from March 8 to April 12. These trainings are designed to prepare you to help yourself first and help others in the event of a disaster. Join Training Coordinator Carl Angdahl for this FREE CERT training so you can learn how to assist yourself and others to save lives and protect property.

For more information, please contact Training Coordinator Carl Angdahl at (562) 822-4928 or crangdahl@earthlink.net.
