The City of Twentynine Palms invites residents to attend a Community Disaster Preparedness Event on Saturday, May 17, from 9AM to 1PM at the Twentynine Palms Community Center, located at 6547 Freedom Way. This FREE public event is designed to help individuals and families understand the importance of disaster preparedness and how to stay safe during emergencies.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of local and regional agencies that specialize in emergency response, fire safety, health services, and disaster recovery. These agencies will be on-site to share valuable resources, answer questions, and provide demonstrations on emergency readiness.

Preparedness is the key to community resilience. This event is a great opportunity for residents to learn how to protect themselves, their families, and their neighbors in the event of a disaster.

Highlights of the event will include:

  • Information booths from participating agencies
  • Giveaways and educational materials
  • Interactive activities for families and children

All community members are encouraged to attend and take proactive steps toward preparedness.
