The City of Twentynine Palms Human Resources (HR) Department strives to attract and retain a highly qualified and talented workforce that is dedicated to providing high-quality municipal services to the citizens of Twentynine Palms. The HR Department administers all human resource management and development programs for the City in compliance with all Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations.
Our Human Resources Department is responsible for the following:
- Recruitment and selection processes
- Administers employee benefit and retirement programs
- Administers the City's Risk Management programs including general liability claims and workers' compensation
- Maintains personnel records, policies, and procedures
- Maintains and ensures compliance with Federal and State mandates such as OSHA, FLSA, CFRA, FEHA, PDLL, ADA, FMLA, and EEO

*Volunteer opportunities are available year-round with the Twentynine Palms Recreation Department and the Palms-N-Paws Animal Shelter.
