RedevelopmentRedevelopment

The City of Twentynine Palms Redevelopment Agency (RDA) provides incentives for development and redevelopment. A Property Improvement Program is available for commercial properties located within the City's Redevelopment project area, including the downtown commercial corridor along a defined area of 29 Palms Highway and Adobe Road. Through the program, a public-private partnership is formed between the City of Twentynine Palms RDA and the commercial property owner to plan and accomplish building and site improvements for city beautification, economic revitalization, as well as public safety. To inquire about Redevelopment incentives and proposals, contact the City Manager at (760)367-6799.

The City of Twentynine Palms Economic Development Division seeks to promote development in the City and to actively pursue new projects that generate retail sales tax, transient occupancy tax, and other revenue sources for the City. Additionally, the Division works with existing business owners and leasing agents to promote retention of existing businesses and attraction of new retailers. The Division's goal is to reach full occupancy in the existing centers.
