Planning Commission Agendas, Minutes, & Staff Reports
Acting in their role as the planning agency for the City of Twentynine Palms, the Planning Commission prepares and implements the General Plan, recommends regulations for future growth, development, and beautification of the City, reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council on proposed subdivisions, and holds Public Hearings to review development and land use applications.
Planning Commission meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road, Twentynine Palms, CA 92277. All meetings are open to the public and citizens are invited to attend and participate in the decision-making process.
Members of the Planning Commission* represent diverse backgrounds. They employ their unique experience and perspective to develop consensus in carrying out the City Council's policies and directives in land use matters.
* The Planning Commission is appointed by the City Council from applicants from the public at large.
